Does anybody else agree that the king is a cool character, and the guy that plays it is quite good too.
Two dimensional card board cut out is more like it. -unsure But that's probably because of the way the story is written. The king in this tale is a concept or an idea, of something all powerful but is intangible. Like a Hollywood movie making reference to the president as "Commander in Chief" or the idea that someone is in charge, but is so powerful that he is above dealing with regular people. That is, you never actually meet him even though everyone in the movie theoretically works for him. A movie or story about a person, who happens to be the president, or Emperor, is different as you would be studying the person who also happens to have a job as the most powerful official in the land. On the other hand, the guy who happens to be the newly revealed "Mr. Big" bad guy of the imperial city underworld; who first pretends to be a good guy but turns out to be the one subverting imperial officials for his own greedy purposes; well... that's character.
Yea... a bad spin off the king from Duke of Mount Deer with Andy Lui as the king. ________ XXX STREAMS
I don't think his acting is suitable for bigger roles. Sometimes actors who act good in those little roles can only do little roles, because they would suck in bigger roles; and he falls under this category. I thought he was going to be a bad guy in this show since he always takes the villain roles.
Yeah he used to act as an evil character most of the time but here i have to admit, he is pretty good looking and cool.
