Yeah... That's kind of in bad taste at this time. You usually don't want to joke about things like this when people are still getting sick and drying.
well, i think its just the name of it that makes it easy to joke about. Swine flu just doesn't have as serious a ring to it as something like... "The Black Death"
Don't give me that shit. What is the percentage of people who get influenza and people who die from it? More people in the US die from malnutrition than from the flu. And the only reason why more people die from influenza is because more people get influenza. Your over reacting statement is also retarded. Are you going to wait until the half the country drops dead from a disease before you take it seriously? No, you try to put the fire out before it escalates, dumbass.
There are 25-50 million reported influenza cases each year. That means that the odds of dying from influenza is about 0.072 - 0.144%.
i heard from the news that this strain of swine flu affects animals, birds and humans, that's why there are some sort of panic and gonna call the pandemic to the high level tbh i think it's an over reaction and it isn't as bad as the whole SARS issues and referring to the link, if someone was paranoid and saw that they'll panic and have a heart attack.. tut tut-noclue-what?
