I'm a big lover of curry, and I've always wanted to try Indian Buffet just because they have like 20 curries to choose from. Anyway, what is your favorite type of curry? Mine is curry chicken, but I don't like having coconut milk in it. Oh yeah, also wanted to make this curry recently... tell me what you guys think: Sweet potatoes, onions, fried tofu, jalepano peppers, and tomatoes. Saw the recipe in this manga once, "Addicted To Curry."
I like chicken curry...never tried the recipe you actually want to try though. I've eaten quite a lot of Indian food but i prefer Paratha(i think that's the name)
i take it chips with curry sauce.. but i do like it sometimes but don't always eat it, only eat it if i'm dire hungry at my dad's shop and no one can cook for me lol back to the main topic.. i'm not too keen on currys coz i can't take spicy food but my mum's and bf's curry's are just gorgeous my bf's recipe (he won't tell me so i'm gonna tell you the jist of it lol): ingredients gran masala powder single cream cardeman seeds chicken (must be legs or wings) potatos shallots/onions decicated coconuts chilli ginger corriander (dried) tumeric think its how he cooks it.. marinade chicken with ginger and salt cut potatos into bits and shallow fry it 75% cooked then drain out oil (next part im not too sure how he properly make the curry sauce) mix gran masala, tumeric and corriander together shallow free the cardeman seeds and onions till it smells nice, then add the curry mixture and the chicken (dunno how long for) then add the single cream, if not enough flavour of course add more curry, tumeric, salt and pepper etc... add potatos in.. cook a little.. then put in the oven to cook it even more and so the top is a bit crispier too i will put pics up when the bf has made some more curry
^ oh i tried something similar to that!! but weren't too keen on it.. prefer my sweet thai chili crisps
^so many weird flavours wish they had those in australia the pictures are pretty good, the duck kinda looks too cute to eat
^you never knoew you might get like spider and snake flavoured scrisps, or crocodiles or even a kangaroo one :S lol
i've tried the cajun squireel one an the hoisin duck one... i think the hoisin duck one was a bit 'mo mei' but i'm kinda scared to try the other flavs...
what did the squirrel one taste like?? im intrigued by chili and chocolate tho and onion bhaji will be an extra stronger version of cheese n onion
