Chinese name vs English name

    everyone uses my English name and no one called me by my chinese name. although i wouldnt mind if people call me by my chinese name ~

    It is better to use English name, sometimes people can't pronounce the chinese name correctly.
    Then, it sound so funny.

    well my chinese name is 文念祖 and english name is Nim Joe Man so its kinda the same thing lols...

    though i find most english peeps call me nim joe or nj but chinese peeps just call me joe...

    Everybody except my grandma calls me by my English name. I wish people would call me more by my Chinese name because I love my Chinese name and I'm so proud of it.

    haha i my chinese name sounds funny its ho doong. nd relatives just call me doong doong.... ><

    but my friends call me by my english name,
    my english name is chris
    so all my hk friends call me "ah-chris" =P

    People used to call my chinese name when I was in hong kong.
    But now, I prefer good for my english, kinda privacy reason.

    I wasnt born with a English name -cry2

    So my Chinese name gets used a lot. Used and abused too -down

    What can I do -shrug

    Hmm..

    gawain is basically another way of saying my chinese name. It sounds so similar too

    Yes it does sounds mysterious, but still....

    retain your Chinese name! its cool and make them English people say your chinese name. national identity!! ^^
