Car Problem

    I need help..
    My dad's 1998 Acura Integra 1.8L B18B1 w/ AT transmission popped up a code P1706
    I have no clue what to do..
    No clue what to replace or fix.

    i googled it n it says auto transaxle concern.... no idea what that means as all my integras were 5 speed n obd1

    i would say check the atf level

    1. check the switch
    2. check fluid levels
    3. ur tranny's fcked as one of ur gears = missing

    then ur dad musta fcked up somewhere and missed the washer orsomething and leaked all the tranny oil to hell... go check the levels again...

    iunno.. my dad unplugged the battery right now.. lol
    another problem. the stupid cd player err-3 now.. stupid dad press the code wrong 3 times..

    yup.. it was about the valves, still not fixed..

    I think my dad might be willing to replace the engine and transmission if it is cheap.
