That girl is right, when you call 911 because your dad is lying on the floor, every sec you wait it too long. So It isn't strange that she is cursing, that officer didnt handled it right. Arent those officers trained to adapted to these situations, being patient etc. Maybe he got a bad day, but he shouldn't hang up the phone..... -noclue
It started recording even before anyone picked up so she really didn't mean to curse at him in the first place, but his way of dealing with the issue was unprofessional. I would fire his ass cause there are going to be lawsuits for sure.
He couldn't get the reason of the emergency out of her, because he kept hanging up on her! How the heck can he "get the reason behind the call" if he keeps hanging up on the caller before the caller even has a chance to tell the officer? Seriously what was he thinking, did he have a bad day? His wife is divorcing him, or maybe even his cat died? Still police is police, personal feelings should be left aside and they should be working professionally. He definitely deserves his ass being suspended, plus some extended training.
I absolutely agree. As a public service professional one has to deal with all kinds of people in all kinds of situations. A cop has to leave all personal baggage behind. If you can't even deal with the 100% expectation of someone calling you names or using bad language, then you really aren't prepared to be a cop. As far was I'm concerned, the public has a right to free speech, no matter how foul and disagreeable. The first words out of the officer's mouth should have been: Where is the emergency? This cop should be disciplined. -_-2

apparently american cops lack discipline tho.. just because they are the cops they think they are all that and can punish people however they wan becuase they think they are the law.. but that's just stereotyping tho so i apologise to those who are not...
yea here in the US we have to pay for everything. we get charged every month on my cell phone bill that states 911 calls even if i make it or not. when i was in a accident they were trying to charge me like 2 grand just to ride the ambulance to the hospital. of course i wasn't awake so i couldn't say no.
