nothing recent, but i rewatched some Wong Kar Wai movies a few weeks back. HK movies kinda suck, i wished the quality of the films were better.
saw Super Car Criminal last night... a friend was looking for it so after i found it thought i might as well give it a try... was kinda hoping for a chinese gone in 60 seconds type of thing... but was pretty disappointed...
yes yes same here. I thought it would be a good film too when i first watched it, cos of the casts - but it wasn't all that. Saw this a while ago, just stealing cars... and at the end louis koo dies right?
Just finished watching Lifeline - 十萬火急 1997 great film starring fong chung sun and lau ching wan!! just similiar to a film version of burning flame - lit for hung sam!
Vhs that one about a lil boy and his father getting separated while in china or something, n he knows crazy kung fu
The last HK film that I watched is the one with Nick Cheung and Nicholas Tse. I forgot the name but it was the one that Nick won an award. Seriously I didn't find that movie interesting.... Not recommended
sniper is my next film im going to watch - but need to d/l it first. last film i watched was 2001 Replacement Suspect - 困獸 starring chilam cheung. Was pretty good!
^^ that film sucked... jay chou made the lead character looked retarded... last film i saw was the sniper - pretty good...
Initial D was the first film i saw of Jay Chou and I was like "huh, sooo emotionless" Butterfly Lover - pretty good
