Bowie Lam Delivers Joyce Tang’s Baby in ‘Pearl on the Palm’ Bowie Lam and Joyce Tang Lai Ming were filming at the Lam Tin Quarry for “Pearl on the Palm” (掌上明珠). The scene spoke of Joyce being abducted by her ex-husband, Wong Chak Fung. While trying to save Joyce, Bowie accidentally killed Wong Chak Fung. During the struggle, the pregnant Joyce went labor and Bowie assisted in delivering the baby. Joyce laughed and said this was the first time she filmed a scene giving birth and did not expect it to occur on a barren hill.
