Khalil fong concert in toronto?

There have been lack of advertisement and i don't think a lot of people realize that Khalil Fong is in concert with fiona sit as guest. This is not a typical concert as it is in Roy Thomson Hall which displays Khalil's composer talents.

lol i'm getting vancouver tickets tomorrow (more like in less than 12 hours, basically in the morning... or day... whatever =P)

still deciding whether to go VIP ($168 or $268 ticket) and get an autograph (but I don't know what to get signed...), or just a regular ticket ($78)...

there was a thing with first 50 tickets shown to this other shop in Vancouver, and you get a limited edition t-shirt by "SuperBored". I wanted to get one... but I doubt they are still available now since tickets started going on sale a week ago.

haha the $268 diamond seating vip tickets are tough to get, and have a lot of procedures to go through. I only have enough cash for one vip ticket (the 168 ticket)... but my sis wants to leech and go as well... and right now I don't have enough cash for a vip and a regular ticket.


Too bad apparently they only accept cash and not card. Or else it wouldn't matter and I could get both.

 

really? they don't accept credit card? oo you're not buying online but from chinese stores? you can always borrow from people =)

 

I live in the area so I'm buying at the chinese store in person, it'll be easier/faster than buying online (i guess).

There was a Hins Cheung concert earlier a few months ago in Vancouver. Some of my friends got tickets, but they had to pay in cash because the stores didn't take credit card. I'm not sure about Khalil concert, but its likely the same idea, since they said cash only for the "super-vip" tickets, it's probably the same idea for the other tickets.

i already borrowed money... I usually don't carry cash around =P I have to pay back my dad some day...

anyways hins concert was epic fail i heard..came and did liek a few songs then left to toronto and people were payin so much to see him lol

 

yea it is at a casino, but I doubt they make you 19+ to enter (i'm of age anyway so it doesn't matter ) . I'm not sure about formality, will have to check on that.


and as for Hins, yea it really was epic fail. he sang for an hour (not even), and then left. Not much of a concert I would say.

lol no i didn't go to the hins concert, even though I was thinking about it. I'm not a huge fan of hins, so yea.

I'm pretty excited for khalil coming! and it wasn't very busy. I got my tickets at lunch time, no problem. But there were already some seating sections that were sold out, and the remaining VIP spots that were available weren't all that great. had to settle with $98 seats = =

bought 2 x 98$ ones. it's slightly better seating than 78$, which turned out (obviously) to be crap seats.
