China's first sexually explicit theme park was torn down before it even started, after an outcry from officials, a Chinese newspaper reported. Love Land, set to open in October in the southwestern city of Chongqing, featured exhibits on sexual history and how-to workshops, the China Daily newspaper reported last week. A picture of the park entrance showed a signboard with the park's name straddled by a giant pair of women's legs topped by a red thong. But the plans left Chongqing officials red-faced. They ordered the park torn down over the weekend, the China Daily reported. Officials called the planned park "vulgar, ill-minded and misleading", said the paper. Many Chinese citizens apparently agreed. The park had drawn controversy on the internet, with some calling it too much, even for fast-living Chongqing, while others praised it as a step forward for sexual candour.

gee,thanks i did actually wanted to learn wing chun years ago before i took up other martial arts because in my state no one is teaching wing chun until recently a master came from hong kong to teach .It's a good art,finally got chance to learn.

Remember, China is the place where (less than a generation ago), armed police used to knock on your door in the middle of the night, and if you were found with a women, she'd better be your wife, AND you'd better have your marriage certificate to prove it. Seriously, even though thousands of hookers now ply their trade openly (did you see the Olympics?) it is still a rather (publicly at least) a very conservative place. You're not going to find hundreds of girlie bars with bare tittie G-string pole dancing just yet. Exactly.

apparently they were just cashing in on the publicity... not sure how though... i don't think the owners ever expected it to actually be opened opening a sex theme park in china would be like opening a buddhist temple in jerusalem
