So, lookin for a new vehicle for my brother in the 15-18 thousand range to replace the ol' Integra. There are a few cars on the market that i've been looking at. 2007 Civic EX 2 Dr for 17000 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 17000 2002 RSX Type S 17000 ^ Probably bargain down all the above vehicles to 16,000 2006 Acura TSX 20,000 (try to bargain down to 18... might not be possible) Anything really worth buying is in the 20-25 thousand range... like 350Z's and G35's, unfortunately my brother is a lazy mofo and won't work for a better vehicle so he's stuck with the mediocre used cars. RX-8's are also in the range im looking at, but the rotary engine makes me kinda iffy on winter performance and long term reliability. Safest bet is probably the civic, unfortunately its the boringest car in the world... so right now im leaning more towards the eclipse
rsx sounds like a good one. but then again the engine would already be almost 7 years old by now. i'm not much of a fan for the '07 civic, or the eclipse... guess i have completely different taste in cars compared to you ><
^ I don't particularly like the civic, and i'm not a fan of the eclipse styling... these are just cars in the price range, if you can think of anything else in the 15-18 range then feel free to suggest it. If i had my way i'd tell my parents to get him an IS300, but there aren't any for sale in my area.
^ totally understand. i'm just curious, are you also considering new cars? or only used ones? In my area the Mazda3 & toyota Matrix are also popular options (somewhere within the 15-18 bracket). But if you're looking for coupe style, I don't have very expanded knowledge on that.

Infiniti isn't making G35's anymore. It's being replaced by the new G37. Unless you were talking about previous models, then i apologize. I wish acura would've continued the RSX... its just not the same without it.
dood... doesn't ur brother suck at driving? get him something that won't get him in trouble in snow... the rx-8 is terrible in snow... newayz... the eclipse is one heavy mofo and is therefore shitty... the TSX would be my choice... the TypeS is pointless for someone that knows nothing bout cars =/
yea the civic is gd car and gd reliability, only problem is its a big boring as a lot of asians have it.
