hey I go to college were there is no chinatown and let me tell you, you miss it when you dont have it not easy over here to get bubble tea at 9pm in rochester
toronto chinatown is actually very dirty and disgusting. i really don't like the people that's living there. I mean they throw their garbage outside on the streets, supermarkets uses the street as their part property. It's ridiculous. Though the only thing i could think i could like about chinatown is the good food they have.
my nearest china town is in LDN but tbh im OK with it but sometimes there are some scums about during the night though...
nyc chinatown is rather uh, unique is its own way.... dirty to the point where its not trash but still busy
perth chinatown is a piece of crap. its basically just 10 shops lol, theres a entrance and 2 rows of shops u can walk around it in like about 1 min.
calgary chinatown is pretty borin lol nothin to do but buy bubble tea or buns =p but it doesnt smell i think and i see spit on sidewalks everywhere not just chinatown..annoys me >.<
Ya, I hate chinatown here in Chi-town. We have 2 actually , one north side and south side. Bunch of CHInese FOBS thinking they are cool and better than the rest. Speak english u are in America. LOL Im so bad, I do have my chinese fobs friends and my americanized friends as well. I try to stay away from chinatown as much as possible now, dont want to bump into and see certain people...
I take that as a joke? What's wrong speaking your native tongue? Nothing is worse than two people completely butchering a language by trying to conform to society. Besides you are in chinatown where predominantly no one speaks English lol I love SF Chinatown. I went to elementary school there as a kid and still venture out there every so often to get some good food and find some random junks to buy. What I do hate is straight up abc's trying to act like they are from HK...get with the program! You can't pull it off
^ really..?..ive been a few chin towns when they're tryna act cool speaky engrish with ubbbbber strong chin acccent..hahhaaha
^ ya wanna see the chins tryna act black now they're funnnnnny....!!!!...... we have one here on PA too....*cough kodak cough*...-whistle
that's just how it is. it's part of the culture. sorry to say. different culture have different stuff that their own people don't like too. it's also a life styling.
I love China Town in Manchester, that is the only time to have some nice food and chinese food shopping, as I live quite far from Manchester.
Chinatown in TO is bad. It has pretty much been taken over by the mainlanders. All the original Cantonese and Toisan people have either aged and moved on or moved out to Richmond Hill or the east burbs like Markham.
Funny, i used to think the same thing. But after deploying for months almost a year, i actually miss it!!!
