haha can I pick "moderation" between the two? This is a tough question, but it really comes down to how "much" he means to me. This question is definitely a dilemma, but I don't think this would happen to me because I'm going to be making my own money; therefore, even if he is poor I can be the provider .

Love is more satisfying than greed. why be so lazy? put some effort to live comfortably Being important is better than being useless. Your gratification with luxury has a limit and it will just saturate at some point, where it won't matter if you got another mil or so. Always better to have both, but shouldn't just choose luxury($$) alone.
theres always ppl who say they would choose ''love over luxury'' but in reality i dont see that happening.. maybeh i just live a life where all the girls i become friends with are all too materialistic but the ones ya think mite be true to their words usually end up liking someone else who is either ''wealthier'', ''better looking'' or ''can-see-future-with''. basically in the end i find it hard to believe in what most girls say anymore since most of them make choices according to how they feel at the time. eg. the girl u love finds out she has feelings for u, so she decides to start a relationship with u, a couple months down the track her life's situation change(family matters, jobs, studies whatever), and the ppl she meets changes, she bumps into someone who is either more humorous to be with, wealthier or better looking. she comes up with an excuse saying either she has study problems and wont be able to spend time with u, or family issues saying u cant help her and she just wants to sort out her life, or another excuse and in the end she basically dumps you for another guy. full stop end of story.
Marry the man/woman you love, and together, you should work hard to save money. My plan hehe. Because, if i marry a rich man, i'll be very lazy and get fat .. I don't wanna get fat lol.
