When the US actually rescue those idiot babes who tried to "uncover and show" the world the truth about human trafficking in N.Korea, I will bow down to DAN..(if the two babes actually successfully report the story, people who read their stories will be like yea yeah, suck to be them, and stop there) Look at how the US tried to be neutral during World War II, people knew about the concentration camp.... but do nothing about it until US actually entered and winning the war. And Dan, if I am shitting diarrhea out of my mouth, perhaps I am, and I am sorry to make such comment, and yes my name means I bust dragon, no need to diverge and attack my name if you can't attack my statement directly. Until the US actually rescue the two idiot babes, my statement is reasonable. US won't risk the whole nation and the world to attack N.korea for the two babes for justice.

  2. I partly do understand why they would be jailed for crossing the country without having permission, but 12 years... thats a bit to long imo..
Every country got there laws, how stupid they are, if you disrespect a law and you get assfkd by the law itself, then you kinda asked for it youself..
Just like that chewing gum is forbidden in Singapore... stupid law! xP but you gotta respect it if you dont want to have a fine

I really feel sorry for those 2 girls, but they knew the risk for going there.. just hope they are getting help of USA with media pressure on US Government

  3. Please restructure the flow and content of your two posts. I do not understand.

How does this relate to the two chicks being held prisoners?

What has Vietnam got to do with these two chicks being held prisoners? Leave my country alone.

How does this help their release?

What has groping and rape got to do with anything?

You must be very smart, because I don't think people would continuously think on a philosophical level about things like this.

If anyone attacked the DPRK, that would start an artillery barrage that would destroy Seoul in less than a day. Ergo, the strategic equation is, when you attack the north, you'll drag the south into a war that it may not be able to afford. :(

So the US was a loser in WWII?

no, the US was not a loser, though the US contributed to the end of WWII... but certainly by no stretch did the US win it all or was the reason for it ending... the only thing u can attribute to the US "winning" is the Battle in the Pacific with Japan... but that only took two nukes...:riaa:

  9. 1 was enough tbh :p

Actually the Pacific battles were won by industrial and human strength (barely) of the US over that of Japan, using conventional tactics and weapons. The US just had a lot more ships, planes and men towards the latter part of the war, enough to roll the Japanese back island by island. When a nation starts to put boys and old men, into men's uniforms, they've already lost the war. Toward the end, that's what both Germany and Japan were doing. The US simply outlasted them.

The atomic bombs were a different story. They were strategic weapons that won a political victory, allowing US troops to land and march into Japan and assume governance uncontested. If Japan had fought, the two bombs, plus several more that would have been subsequently dropped, would have made the IJA less effective, but they still could have fought. Even after a US takeover of the home islands, if there was still a will to resist, the war could have gone on for decades (like it did for the French in Indochina). Hence, the atomic bombs achieved a political victory by changing the strategic landscape; it actually did nothing for the tactical advantage (like major destruction of enemy troops, military facilities, material production, etc).

Personally, I wish that they could have dropped one on Red Square too. It would have made the US the undisputed political leader of the world and precluded half a century of proxy wars that we're still fighting today. Nearly half of all the productivity and accumulated treasure from around the world for that time has gone into this 'west vs communist' contest. If the US would have just sandbagged and defeated Moscow in 45, the whole strategic balance of the world would have changed and history would have altered course. Example, the Korean and Vietnam Wars would have never happened.

As for these two women. They're stuck between a rock and a hard place. They're going to be very valuable negotiating chips for the DPRK. If I were Obama, the best that I could do for them would be to not even acknowledge the issue because the more valuable we make them, the more the DPRK will ask for in trade.
