Doesn't make much of a difference, well, unless you go to a james ruse or a selective school - everyone's telling all the super smart guys that they cant get a 5 digit UAI/ATAR mark anymores - Doesn't get people that much of a higher mark anyways - if you're in the top end of the state. Plus the admission marks for courses will probably go up most courses anyways. Plus it doesn't affect you haha, unless you;'re one of the guys who have gotten 100 UAI's in the past - boasting rights
No, my brother is doing HSC this year, just kinda worried about him and ATAR until yesterday, when I realise what it actually is....damn descriptions are confusing...
lol When do you guys have your uni entrance exams? Like soon then? Or is it just that they have formals mid-year... Cause that's uber weird compared to here True. They shouldn't just change it in the middle of an HSC year.. like wait till the HSC '10 and change it or something..
when do u guys have urs then? i think year 12 formals are normally later in the year, term 3 uni entrance exams? u mean like the exam at the end of the year? october/november? wens ur formal then?
Quite a few private schools I know have it 4 weeks or so before the HSC; its meant to be a celebration or some thingo I think for the ones after hsc.. you don't see as many ppl there, cause as you said, everyone goes overseas/travels abroad/schoolies So you're not in year 12?
Omg, i miss Sydney SOOOO much when i wanna have good asian food or when i go shopping... NL is OK (luckily at least we have Zara <3) but i love Sydney....theres no Seduce, Myers, David Jones or Sportsgirl here *cries* N btw, someone go have some KRN BBQ or a good Pad Thai for meeee
