Ok, 2008/2009 season is over and Manchester United won the Premier League. So about time theres a thread for the 2009/2010.

So far the big money signing is only Gareth Barry signing for Man City for £12 million.

According to the BBC Manchester United have accepted an £80 million bid from Real Madrid. As a fan, not a good thing. I like Ronaldo even though he has that arrogance in him which I dislike, but hes still a class player and last season he didnt perform as well and took him time to find his form and yet still managed to be Man Utd's top scorer with 26 goals.

I like to know where the hell does Real Madrid get all these money from in this economic climate. They got Kaka for £56 million and now £80 million for Ronaldo?? they are in pursuit for David Villa, Xabi Alonso and Franck Ribery. WTF?? Wheres the money coming from? >.<

finally that ronald is leaving, bring bak tevez? lol as a man u fan myself i think ronaldo leaving is not a bad thing, he a good player not doubt about that scoring soo many goals, but to me he looks bigger than he club, not player should be bigger than a club sometimes he doesnt give a shit when he loses a ball so in mycase £80m is a good price

    david villa maybe? lol

keep tevez, buy Antonio Valencia or Ribery to replace him. Sell Fraizer Campbell/Nani and buy a striker like Benzema would be good ~ it might turn out to be a Beckham.

LMFAO at ronaldo, yea he has talent but hes still a diving cheat. ive heard lots of rumours what utd will do with the money, either buy ribery and/or benzema, or buy valencia and use rest of money to pay back some of the 1bill debt they still owe.

as for 09/10 season, winners will be arsenal.

bleh, resigning to lose Ronaldo to Real Madrid. he couldve been a legend at United. ah well, get the deal over and done with, so we can be active in the transfer market and find a replacement asap.

Liverpool dont have the money apparently. heard Benitez is looking through bargains. although if they sell Pennant, Alonso, and some other fringe players, they could be able to get some good players. selling Xabi Alonso would be a big mistake. hes a brilliant player for Liverpool.

it's sad he's quitting but he's too arrogant and i think he won't be as great as he was in ManU(just like Beckam and Owen, buahaha)!i only think ManU will keep Tevez with the money.END

yeah i read that and theres no way Liverpool would accept £40 million for Torres and Torres wouldnt want to leave anyway

it would be great if Torres came to Man Utd, but its highly unlikely. Also heard Mascherano and Alonso arent going to be sold.

i would like van der vaart as he could potentially fill the spot for scholes in centre mid... if Tevez really decides to go elsewhere.. then swoop huntelaar... as we already have Rooney n berbatov

VDV could never fill Scholes boots... Scholes is a fighter... VDV is a pansy... talented, but a pansy nonetheless...

havent really seen Van Der Vaart play but yeah Scholes is a fighter. his tackling is crap but still go around the park and slide tackles people
