i saw the trailer and i'm a little confused... is it going to be an MMORPG? cause the video i saw made references to FF11

 

graphics looks nice, but for mmorpg. will lag to bits unless they have uber servers ~

All these noobs need to do is release FFVII with multiplayer!!!!!!!!!! just vs mode, that would be epic, i would buy a PS3 for that.

 

most likely going to be p2p, since MMORPG requires money for upkeep, patches and new content.

they will already have the servers or if anything can probably get it cheap since they already have a MMORPG (FFXI)

the only thing i hope for is that its not going to be crap like ffxi =\

 

What the heck! FFXIII is not out yet and they already starting to make FFXIV

 

it has been confirmed to be a mmo i was reading the interview at ign.com a few days back

 

for the record... i played ffxi... and the servers never lagged... kinda a weaksauce game... but atleast the servers were good...

 

LOL since when has online FF games held back due to subscriptions, they are the most expensive when it comes to fees with theoir other game/s, P2P is a bunch of crap, may as well play them free online games.

 

Final Fantasy XIII is coming out in Japan at the end of 09 I believe so it's not weird that they would start the development of the next game.

 

i think FF11's drawback was that you needed parties for everything. they're going to make FF14 more solo friendly which is a good step in getting some of WOW's userbase.

also, DON'T PLAY ANY MMORPGs!

i had to read your post a couple times and i still dont get it =\ you quoted my post but nothing in my posts say that "online FF games are held back due to subscriptions" please clarify.

P2P games arent crap. maybe its not the type of game for you since you have to pay.

free to play MMORPG are garbage.

 

f2p isn't garbage... some of them are good to play to pass the time, as for FF14 I am so looking forward to it, i am so ready to start it again! haha

I hope this one doesn't turn out like FF-X2, as it is online my hope are still high.

 

this is no where near FF-X2... this is MMO style, i am soo looking forward to this, i really hope they realize more information about the game soon!!
