and now all of a sudden, Madcatz have a bunch of Tourny arcade sticks available, those noobs were purposely milking the hype and not releasing the sticks when they could have. Forget them, they dont care about the gamers, its 100% about the money, i think ill get the tekken 6 stick which is not going to be made by madcatz.
tekken on PC??? u sure?? and lmao i dint even get a chance to buy one XD but went it that they only had a limited stock?
they had several batches of sticks go out and the people who benefited mostly from price hikes were the resellers. i'm looking to pick up a second stick, either a TE or a hori HRAP EX
If its for the PS3 then get an x-arcade stick, thats the best one, if your M$360 then your stuck with hori or madcatz, i would get hori cus madcatz are just noobs
x-arcade is hard to use for me...I'm use to the lollipop like stick and the flat and wide buttons, x-arcade's button is a bit too spaced out LOL
^ I know...I tried it and keep pressing the gap between the spaces and can't do a lot of moves properly
the madcatz TE is the best stick on the market for both systems unless you have a really good custom built one. I play on 360 so I don't really have a lot of options. I got a PCB for building a custom one but I'm kinda lazy atm.
a LOT of them are having problems, madcatz still make it fail, BUT if u get a good one then your sorted and thats only because of the quality parts, madcatz got nothing to do with it except charge dum prices.
the ones with faults were the Standard Edition. I got one of those. they're just low quality arcade buttons and stick. My stick squeaks and the stock buttons aren't tight, they're loose. cuz the button plastic piece pushes down on the microswitch to make the connections but the plastic piece is not tight on the microswitch button cuz it cups it down. so when you are playing kinda intense or you're double tapping a lot like me, it doesn't register as well. i haven't heard any real consistent problems with the TE. it's top notch sanwa parts. i bought sanwa buttons to replace on my SE, need to pick up a sanwa stick for the stock one cuz of the squeaking but it hasn't really malfunctioned so i've been holding that off for some time.
