okay stupid and weird question. what is a "gorn" (as close as I can get in english pronunciation) it's a part of the body and can have growths in it. Any ideas? someone told me they had a xray/mri and said that the "gorn" looked abnormal and had growths on it. spleen, liver, pancreas?

    thanks in advance

In Canto, "GORN" means liver. And yes, you can have liver tumors. However most likely tumors on the liver usually means secondary metastases (malignant spread) from the colon. It is generally a very bad diagnosis. There are such things as benign hepatic tumors.

    Good luck.

On the lighter side, a GORN is also the name of the lizard creature from (episode 18 - "Arena") the original Star Trek.
