MICHAEL Jackson had reportedly cut his father out of his final will. The King of Pop is believed to have ordered his fortune be split between his children — Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and six-year-old Prince Michael II — his mum Katherine, 79, and a number of charities. But in the will, drawn up in 2002, he is said to leave nothing to dad Joe. Jacko had a chilly relationship with his father, who he accused of abusing him as a child. Business associates think it unlikely the Thriller star would have given financial control or custody of the kids to the 79-year-old. Last night, Jackson's former lawyer, John Branca, emerged to claim he has the copy of the will and he will be filing it with the courts later this week. The news will add further complexity to what is already certain to be a lengthy and costly court battle over Jackson's assets, children and £500million debts. The Sun revealed today that Jacko owed at least $300million when he died and had been begging banks to lend him more money. On paper, Jacko had assets worth$1.3billion — almost all tied up in his 50 per cent ownership of The Beatles' back catalogue with Sony Records. But he was unable — or unwilling — to sell his share. Financial papers seen by The Sun show Jacko was desperately seeking to borrow $43million in late 2007. And we can reveal he signed his deal with O2 concert promoter AEG at that time in a bid to persuade the bankers he was good for the cash.
now they can sell the beetles shares cover the debts and have over 800mil left over to go to the kids and charities etc. his father has got of lightly considering how he messed up MJ as a child.

good move from MJ! joe should've been cut out of the will, look what happened to him and his obsessive plastic surgeries as an adult! I really do wonder what will happen to his kids though, whoever gets custody of them will have sort of a ticking time bomb access to the money they are entitled.

them 50 concerts woulda cleared his debt , selling the beetles would be crazzzy its like selling elvis or a vintage painting big assets or some things are just priceless.
