Girls, if you've been with your bf for say, 4+ months, and within that amount of time he's never shown any clear sign of jealously, how would that make you feel?

This is provided that you've deliberately tried to do things to provoke him i.e. frequently chatting with other guys, making it known that you're going to be hanging out with your guy friends for a certain activity (without asking him to join) and things like that.

your not doing enough. make out with another guy in front of him while grabbing his ass. thats how you should do it. if he's not jealous by then...you'll know.

  3. you want him to be jealous???, if he smacks you will that be like a jackpot?

Jealousy is insecurity on display.

If I'm dating someone, I trust them enough to let them do whatever and hang out with whomever they want. If your bf/gf wants to leave and be with someone else, he/she will be regardless of whether or not you're jealous.

So not being jealous is a good thing. Some of the girls I've dated would beg to differ, though.

lol the thing is what if he's jealous enough to knock out the other guy, would that make your relationship better. does that turn you on or what? lol

    lol I'm a guy, FYI.

The reason why I'm asking this is because like Casshern, I'm the type of guy who never gets jealous. I agree that it serves no purpose other than to make you look like an insecure fool. But my girlfriends told me that when a guy shows absolutely no sign of jealousy, then they start getting insecure themselves, thinking that the guy doesn't truly like them, hence, not caring if they lose them to another guy.

    Women.

From personal experience, it's usually the immature or insecure girls who would intentionally try to make you jealous. It's like, they constantly need to have that reassurance in order to know that you care. Nowadays, I try to steer as far away as possible from those types of girls. I don't need to date a Drama Queen.

damn seriously i think every thread in the love and relationship section should include the OP's gender and if the topic actually happened in their lives or to some other people hahaha damn confusing shit at times cause i dunno whether to talk shit/ make jokes about your penis or your boobs.

^hahahahaha rofl..... damn u nas.... ur right tho -_-

@jm3... i agree.... i think guys who show too much jealousy are too insecure too thoooooooo, a guy can show me he cares in another way.... if hes jealous n is being all uptight id feel he doesnt trust me (N)
some guys do try to make u feel like ur doing something wrong tho... so manipulative.....-_-

But what if I'm genuinely not jealous? Am I supposed to pretend to be in order to reach that middle ground?

^ really not jealous...?...umm....you dun care muchy about her...?...-unsure....or or or or you know shes faking it...so you dun play along with it..?..haha

  14. too much jealousy is pussy-like, don't be a bitch and hawk over the girl about who what when where she is at all times its not healthy and definitely a turn off.... i trust my gf to tell me who she is going to hang out with if she finds it necessary to tell me, i don't deliberately ask every time, but i may ask just to carry on the conversation if the topic arises....

Sometimes it's the latter. And it's not that I don't care, it's just that I don't get jealous. It doesn't bother me when I see her with other guys. If she's consistently hanging out with some guy I don't know, then I might be a little wary, but that's about it.-shrug

the OP is a guy and he likes you .. wtf

the only time jealousy exists is when your relationship is on thin ice; a sign for more communication between the two people.

for me personally, it took a while but I learned it .. I used to be jealous when my ex gf went out with the guys to the extend where I became totally possessive .. why? i don't talk much because i always assumes she understand me. After my car accident though, I changed .. kinda open up more and say whatever ..

    lol I think you misread.

I meant "wary", not weary. lol wary just means that I'd be more cautious, not jealous. But that's never happened before, anyway.

  19. not necessarily. what if this other dude is like some rapist or serial killer?

i don't think that's something to be jealous about.
