Well there is no thread for mishaps which im sure happens in and around the kitchen so post them here
not even sure how i managed this, cupbords are to full with stuff, reach for one thing and it causes a chain reaction. took ages to clean it up btw, luckily nobody was home >.<
^ gosh G you are very clumsy!! i never really had a mishap before but i rememebred iwas buttering my bread went over to my mum coz she wanted to show me something and i dropped those normal knifes you get from those cutlery set and it stabbed on my foot luckily it didn't got straight through lol my BF had it worse tho... one summer he was making burgers so he had to split the 2 burgers away as itwas frozen, he used a sharp knife to help then next thing you know he cut right on the joint at the very lowest knuckle on the marriage finger... hell you oculd see his bones :S
Ouch, u lucky it didnt go through cus you would have to pull it back out!! the burger one is very common which is why i ONLY use table knives on frozen burgers cus they cant cut nothing.
OMG bbgirl.......god must've blessed u both i had a few in my mind so far: 1. [Microwave] - I was heating up my dumplings & covered it w/ aluminum foil -------- kids don't try it @ home it's DANGEROUS!!! after i press "start" it's like the radiation effects in Watchmen. 2. [Microwave] - the muffin mix I bought was microwavable, so I put it in & blah blah blah...after X min it was burning & the whole apartment smells like it was on fire. 3. [Knife] - I was cutting pork, then cucumbers using those Chinese big knife. I wanted to do it fast so I speed up ------ cut my finger & drop the knife on the floor. 4. [Toaster oven] - not really not my fault but i could've prevent it.......my cousin was toasting mini bagels, I saw a plastic wrapped moon cake on top of the toaster, i didn't think it was that bad to leave it there. Then when I tried to take off the moon cake, I saw the plastic wrap melt and it turn black & stick it on the toaster oven. 5. [Pie] - Last summer I made a frozen yogurt pie for my dad's bday, i was carrying it to the dinning room & i tripped ---- the pie fell & smashed it on the ground. It wasn't frozen enough i must say....
oh yea i had incidents where i've seen fireworks in the microwave before lol. damn i was expecting those stories of people almost cutting their damn fingers off, yo master n00b whats that?
lol i did the microwave one on purpose when i was younger wow i never seen/heard of a yoghurt pie before, haha at least you took a pic before it fell its premium dark soy sauce glad it wasn't the light soy sauce cus i use that more often
i know i was lucky lol but it did leave a tiny cut of where the head dropped onto my foot and somehow came up with a bad bruise :S and i don't bruise easily lol well my BF has learnt his lesson and always ask me to sort the burger out :S lol Wow it just proves Kay should NOT use kitchen appliances that involves heating food up by things at an enclosed areas lol in fact i would only allow you to make me food form the stove thats it lol nowhere else! premium dark soya sauce?? i havent had them for ages!! but then i splash a lot of dark soya sauce for the colouring tho :S light soya sauce is the way forward with boiled rice -rockon
Not really cooking but on the way home from buying groceries I had bought a jamba juice I smooth talked the big bus driver into letting me have the drink on the bus ^_^..... so i was carrying alot of groceries so I put the drink between my legs. next thing u know my legs crushed the drink and jamba juice went EVERYWHERE all over my pants and the bus. so i had to pretend like nothing happened while manga a go go was all over my pants and slowly dripping down the aisle towards the bus driver.. and after the long walk home i realized the mango a go go got inside the whole loaf of bread i had bought.... -____- oh oh nd i remember i tried frying bananas once with bananas sugar and oil and all of a sudden everthing started turning black and growing..
um on thursday..i was cutting some strawberries an then i placed the knife on the chopping board but it wasnt really balanced an then the knife fel but lucky i managed to catch it mid air before it fell down an stab my feet... an coupla years ago, i accidently set off the alarm when i was heathing up some food in the microwave.. the packet said 3mins...i musta put in 30mins instead lmao...ended up burnt,the food kinda exploded an the plastic melted ><" microwave was a mess..
