From wikipedia.com according to a 2001 Stats Can Census: Major cities Toronto, Ontario - 259,710 (out of 2,481,494) - 10.4% Vancouver, British Columbia - 161,110 (545,671) - 29.5% Calgary, Alberta - 51,545 (993,200) - 5.1% Edmonton, Alberta - 39,860 Ottawa, Ontario - 27,680 Montreal, Quebec - 23,270 Winnipeg, Manitoba - 10,890 Suburbs Richmond, British Columbia - 64,270 Markham, Ontario - 62,355 Burnaby, British Columbia - 50,135 Mississauga, Ontario - 35,955 Richmond Hill, Ontario - 28,760 Coquitlam, British Columbia - 19,940 Surrey, British Columbia - 16,480 This is not accurate (but gives you a rough idea) -- there's way more. For example, I know that Winnipeg now has 20,000 Chinese people at least. And Toronto has at least 300,000.
I chose equal... but maybe a little more Chinese... eh But in my town, so many Chinese. Like, in my school, most are from China. I know of no one from Hong Kong... all are from China... and speak Mandarin... I know of only like 5 people or so that speak Cantonese. Including me. In my school... that's just sad...
