I have a Ross headphone and it was great but I broke it. Then I bought a Sony one and it was mediocre sound quality (can't compare to the Ross one) which I broke too. Some one here highly recommended the v-moda headphone and it had good bass; however, it broke in less than 2 weeks .. the worst built and lasted the shortest of all the ones that I have tried .. even worst than Sanyo .. Luckily, the second V-moda I got was returnable to Costco. Anyway, any suggestions??? I listen to a lot of upbeat music in the gym and requires a good bass earphone.

I bought these Panasonic ones and find them amazing. Very comfortable and affordable. http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-RP-HJE300-Portable-Headphones-Carrying/dp/B000OKFD3K
^ no bose. my bose headphones were garbage quality, they've broken twice >_< I stood by them, but then i listened to some sennheisers and realized i paid roughly an extra 80 dollars for nothing. if you're gonna go for some expensive 'audiophile' quality headphones go sennheiser.
blasphemy! What's your budget look like. I can easily recommend headphones anywhere from $20 to $500.
Thanks ya'll .. I need something that's good for running, small size, great sound quality, and good built yet affordable .. <$100. Shure? never heard of it .. I'll look it up .. JVS sucks. Can you post up the link where to buy it too? Thanks again!
If you're looking for excellent headphones for under $50, I would highly suggest the JVC HA-FX33 or HA-FX66 (Marshmallow or Air Cushion). For under $100, I would definitely go for a pair of Shure E2C or E3C (if you could find it). The Shure SE110 isn't bad either.
^ I'll trust your recommendation; gonna order the JVC HA FX66 and the Shure e2c. The design is about the same though I am not sure about sound quality; perhaps that's the real difference. Which one is more sturdy for rough usage??
I've been the HA-FX66's little sister (Marshmallows) daily for about 2 years and they're still going strong.
^ okay .. i just ordered them on amazon. hopefully, your rec is good .. hadouken suggested the vmoda one and it wasn't very good.
The SE110 are not as good as the E2C. I have some oil-ly ears and the new shape of the SE110 vs. the E2C shape makes it hard to fit "perfectly" Also, I hope your Shure do not subject to extreme temperatures. I live in Canada and the walk to the bus can be -25C and then +15C in the bus. The wire will start cracking after a year.
Thanks for the input. Great info. Have you tried contacting Shure regarding your cables? They have excellent customer service. I know someone had one of the tips stuck in his ear. He was being funny and sent an email to Shure regarding the stuck tip and they sent him a brand new pair of SE530.
