Dunno, test match rugby union like the 6 nations is meant to be demanding. 80 mins rugby, regular professionals will lose about 4KG in weight in competitive test rugby matches. It is alot more physical than football/soccer so it seems more demanding in my opinion.

Bleep test is a fitness test, like you said... not a sport...

But I'm really eager to do the test again... There was a mp3 of the bleep test I've found online, lost it though.I want to see how much my cardio had improved.

I would say Combative competitive martial arts is demanding, in particular MMA as it is a multifacet sport where strength, flexibility and endurance must be trained in combination to skill training.

I would also say preparing for mountain climbing (like Everest and K2) is extremely demanding as well

  8. It depends on the person and the type of body they have.

Cycling is the most demanding sport. The Tour de France is underway now.A top bicycle won't bring you victory. It needs top physical and mental conditions. That is why most of them are doped!!One small mistake and you break your bones^^

like every1 else said, it varies depending on sports. main stream sports like football, soccer, basketball all requires endurance/physical strength. where as other sports might take less physical strength and require more endurance/vice versa. triatholon tho, if u have to put in the most "demanding" activity that exists, has to be hands down the hardest. try putting phelps, armstrong, and some sorta cross country runner, and combine their training that's just 24/7 working out!, but if u put that person into a cage w/ a MMA fighter or on a court with a basketball player, they'll get killed so yaeh.... like i said it varies@!@@!@

By far it would have to be Ultra-Marathon. They run two Marathons a day for about a week depending on the race. "Run Across America" from West coast to east or vice versa takes about 2 months depending on the athlete

Formula 1 driving - demanding physically, need mental concentration and quick reflexes.

Iron Man, that sport is sick... run like 26.2 miles, then bike 53 miles and swim 2 miles insane... that requires a lot of training...

I say NHL. All that skating, the big hits, sharp blades and wooden sticks. And a regular season (82 games) + playoffs(7 game series in each round) a team could potentially play 110 games. You can't get any more grueling than that.

    Oh and almost forgot FIGHTS.
