    (Y) (Y) (Y) i really hope nothing like this will happen when i travel back next yr -_______- i guess the best time to travel HK or GZ will most likely to be winter

You've got to get one of those electronic bug zappers. It's a waste of electricity, a fire hazard, and generally a nuisance; but man, when you hear the thing go...
    ...ZZZAAPPP!!!

...LOL, what a gleeful moment.

what about these? LOL, comes w/ different color & background, good for exercising, an alternative for a tennis racket in a rush. (Y)

Racket Zappers are nice, but the novelty wears off really fast; you'll spend your whole night chasing flying insects. Geckos are also good but they're limited usually to the crawling kind of insects. Also, you have to have family members that aren't afraid of lizards.

Well, that's the price you pay when traveling to HK or China. At the end, it's nothing compare to the food and excitment Hk has to offer.

Agreed. I'd be more worried about someone kidnapping your kids or knocking you over the head and selling your organs.

  9. lol robbing a persons organs and selling them is on another level of craziness

I am an island traveler and bring BOUNCE SHEETS with me to apply before I go out. It works better than the mosquito repellents. The Bounce is always in my suitcase every where I go. I just came back from Jamaica and this island has lots of mosquitoes. Amazingly that I didn't get any bite from mosquitoes. Just apply to your exposed area and remember to reapply when you sweat. This works for me!

I heard some people say eating quite an amount of garlic everyday will repel mosquitoes, but the only downside is it will leave you with garlic breath

I got two mosquito on my index finger. It's swollen enough that I can't really bend it much yet. But should be able to in two days or so. :(

I live in NY and get lots of mosquito bites too! I hate them... they get super swollen now and then itchy. I have found that super menthol cremes work better in smoothing them. I use icy hot.... lol yes i know its not a mosquito/bug bite creme but hey whatever works to relieve some itching and swelling...
