seems like a lot of videos on these things in europe - challenging police and then try to run away from it, both on bikes and cars.

not if you know what you are doing... cause doing anything while living is a gamble with your life... you just get better odds at living.
knowing what your doing doesn't really matter tbh, no seatbelt, no air bag, no structure to be tied to, your just a rag doll in leather. being safe on a motorbikes isnt about how uber you are, its also about how every other person you cross drives too, all it takes is for one of them to make a mistake. youll find that many people who die on their bikes are people who "know what they are doing". i wouldn't say your odds for survival are better in a car, i would say they are much better.
^I think you misunderstood me. when i mentioned gambling with ones life i was referring to the added danger of riding a motorcycle, you agreed with that. for example if you go out on your bike and do 30mph all the way its still possible that you could get seriously injured due to other drivers or people who dont like looking at their mirrors etc etc. im not saying when a person goes on a bike they pull wheelies and do 200mph or are able to, i generally wouldn't give motorbike riders that much credit tbh

But like anything in the world, you accept the risk and you do anything you can to mitigate that risk. You could live your life and say no to everything that was "dangerous", but then you could also just live in a cushioned room all your life. Personally I like the best of both worlds and readily accept i am more like to die out there. but i think i am safe enough to keep myself alive and out of harms way Its all about personal choice in the end. But then again, I wouldnt expect anyone who hasnt actually ridden a motorcycle properly to understand why people ride motorcycles. it does seem daft but there is a reason people love it Of course the people in the videos posted are total twats and do not represent the majority of us safe riders out there
^hmm im not saying its stupid, i think they are cool but i personally wouldn't ride one where i live, maybe out in the open. all i said was your taking a gamble, sure your taking a gamble in a tank too but there is a difference, and i said the danger is increased. im not going deep on the matter, its just those two facts. im not knocking people who ride motorbikes, as you said, you accept the risk.

Don't be pointing fingers at me, I only meant at those speeds, that old beat up cop car will have no chance in chasing down that motorcycle especially in that area where there are very few traffic. That last part was a joke. You totally misunderstood my comment. And I been on a motorcycle, it was fun and the experience was so free.
im sure it happens a lot as ive seen motor bike people bite the heads off people who so much as mention the dangers of motor cycles as if its a personal attack, i cant say that doesnt happen and im sure there is reason for that response but thats not what i was doing, anyway, we got that cleared up.
