grand st chinatown! 1.25 cents churng fun! , quickly lunch shabu shabu! is the best lunch cheap and fun and different
A lot of places at 8th ave is pretty cheap for food. It's basically the areas that are crowded as heck... little italy, chinatown, flushing, ktown...
Depending on what you want, flushing Queens 38-18 Prince St Flushing, NY 11369 have great foods and a lot of variety. You can hang out there and walk around, you'll find some good places. There is this place which I recommend, it's a Taiwanese style restaurant 66 Lu's Seafood, order the fried pork chop on rice dish, it's great. They have taiwanese style noodle soup and even stinky tofu too.:naughty: Gu-Shine Taiwanese restaurant at 38-18 Prince St Flushing, NY 11369 is another good place. 2 Dishes & 1 Soup for $15. They also have some of the best Korean places(a bit more expensive) around and a few Vietnamese places very close the the 7 train station. How many inches is that large pie? Is it any good? Hadn't seen a pizza for that price ever. A slice is already $2+ now. For that price, it's not worth it. Do they deliver if so number plz.-clapclap
uhh its a pizzeria?? I believe it was next to a sushi restuarnt... Well I haven't measured the pie since its just pizza, I see it I eat it... lol but the quality varies from time to time... like first time I had it, it was pretty decent. Second time I ordered 2 pies one of the pies was like half cooked and the other pie was alright... depends on what you look for in pizza I guess... and i had the menu for the store... but i think i threw it out.
chowHound.Com, NewYork.seriouseats.com Most major food chains, aka fast food takeaways have 'Dollar Menus' items that include pastry and small sized meat samplers.
I recommend Zaiya Cafe in the East Village. It is a japanese bakery located on 3rd Ave between St. Marks and 7th Street. They have alot of different baked goods and good sized entrees and bentos. They're food is always good and really fresh. You can get anything from onigiri to croissants to bentos. I especially love they're spicy tuna buns.
^^^ definitely cafe zaiya! the one at st marks is smaller than the one near grand central. That one is on E 41 btwn Madison and broadway. another place is woorjip which is located on W32rd btwn Broadway and 5th. Which is like cafe zaiya but korean style. E-mo is also another good place on W32rd a couple of stores down from woorijip and they sell kimbap i think i can keep going on and on...:laugh2:
