Chakmah is the only potential signing right nao... and even then, it might not be for another couple weeks till the team gets more friendlies in... matuidi is a possibility... same with hangeland... srsly... arsenal have plenty to offer in terms of a strike force... 5 strikers and 3 attacking midfielders... barring injuries, this will be one of the strongest strike forces arsenal's had in a while... definitely stronger than the other top4... i have no doubt about that...

cattermole is meh... he's a solid player just he's not alonso... acquilani, maybe... i think he has the potential, but atm he might not be good enough... liverpool could try instead to get another wide player and move gerrard back to midfield rather than on the right =/
In my opinion, screw getting a replacement for Alonso. We either have him or we don't. It's going to be very hard getting a replacement for him, or a midfielder with his playmaking calibre. We have Lucas and Mascherano, although alot of people will say Lucas is crap or w/e, he needs to be given a chance. And yeah I agree, we should make Gerrard go back to Centre mid or buy Aquilani, still a Centre Mid but a completely diff player to Alonso but would be still good. Cattermole would only be bought for the Champs League 8 Homegrown player ruling IMO, but would like to see more English players at the club. BUT BUT BUT OUR PRIORITY: David Silva or David Villa. Valencia are in money troubles, surely we can get at least one of them.

don't rate bendtner? u do realize the boy scored just as many goals as kuyt last season with less games right? and he doesn't start many games, often he's thrown on the pitch for the last 15mins...
Even with the stats, I seriously can't see him being a top Prem/Champs Lge Goalscorer in the future. I dno why I still don't think I can rate him.
this season will be make or break for him, he didnt like adebayor and now that he has been sold to city, it will be his opputunity to shine, and if your bendtner what more motivation do you need than the player you hate is sold. and bendtner only scored a goal less than adebayor last season, and i lost count the amount of times ade was offside - which was so fustrating to watch. and how many people thought ade would step up and score 30 goals in that season when henry left as for a new striker, i wont really care if we dont sign someone in that department in this transfer window as we have a target man in bendtner, clinical finishers in eduardo and vela, we can even play walcott there, we have van persie as supporting striker - and we can play arshavin, rosicky, nasri and even wilshere in that position. what i would like for arsenal is a defender and a cm who can tackle, then an attacking midfielder so eboue can be 2nd choice right back. and if your a gooner or you hate the spuds this should make you laugh: [video=youtube;xXgqSkIsFHQ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXgqSkIsFHQ"[/video]

i doubt it... i think it's gonna be a two team race down to the wire... only the two teams will completely leave the others in the dust... lookin at a 90pt season here atleast... i could be wrong... but then again... none of the top4 are any stronger... Chelski grew a year older, ManU lost 20+ goals and their core of Scholes/Neville/Giggs are on the way out, Livershit losing Alonso will probably make Rafa play rotate the starting line again... and Arsenal are hoping to play pure offense this season... the most solid choice atm is Chelski or Livershit to win the title... but Arsenal I think hold the key... if they can get a strong start going, they'll be playing Invincibles style offense the entire season and roll over every team... just look at their striking options and try to tell me that doesn't scare u a bit... remember Arshavin struck FOUR AT Anfield...
