Ok im done with RS as you know... if your behind then check the rant forum

I opened a MU account (not premium yet) but i dont think ill be using them cus they are all about the soft porn. I uploaded a file, went to dload it and im bombarded with stupid soft porn adverts, ive written MU an email asking why they are so smutty and asked if they provide a professional service or is it just for the kids, if i have to pay extra to bypass smut then ill give it a miss so maybe ill get a reply tomorrow.

if it was just for me then i would just ignore it but i will be directing people to these adverts as they download my stuff and i upload to a Christian website so its a no-no.

anyway, Mediafire looks good, does anyone of you have experience with that, any better, any to avoid etc etc.

maybe try file dropper? gotta pay tho. mediafire has a slow upload speed than MU & RS, @ least for me it is.

^ i dont mind ads, thats fine, just not porn lol, my max upload is 56KB :(, when i have gigs worth to upload i just go uni so if it can manage at least 1MB upload then its fine

^lol its got nothing to do with virgin girls lol, its because im uploading and people will be directed to it, for all i know some poor soul who just broke from the porno watching habit clicks my MU link for a sermon and gets directed to a bunch of porn ads saying "do it in secret!!!", if i knew everyone would pay no attention to it then maybe but that's not the case, i dont want to lead anyone into temptation, put it that way :nono:.

Mediafire is good, but they cap download speeds at 200kb/s for me at any rate. Its fine if you combine it with Jdownloader, and since you can have as many downloads going at once its not bad. But seriously...you had porn adverts? I never get that, the page is relatively add free for me.

 

lol, its not hardcore but its inappropriate if your trying to be a little professional, soft core material doesn't help, its just smutty imo.

 

i prefer MU, the upload speed, file size and download speed is quite good.
the advertising isn't too bad but with premium there should be less advertising?
i just dont pay attention to them any more so dont notice them there.

 

Nevermind, I figured out why I don't have ads. I'm running ad block plus lol.

 

depends on the person's ISP, at work all hosting site except sendspace is close to 1MB for me

for me lately, it's just "google pays me $______" or poker ads, havent seen those for a while. If ppl who dl ur stuff actually click the ads, so? im sure they encountered stuff similar like this from other sites. you arent the only one who can lead them to those "temptation". they can just not look @ it at all.

a guy told me once he didn't know why his thing was e_e_ting, he felt kinda ashame & prayed to both buddha & god, hoping they will forgive him & purify him. So don't worry, God will save them from the porn ads.

same for us, home upload is only 550Kbps, i wonder if people know the upload speed is not the same as the download speed
