Rice: has anyone notice?

    It depends on the type of rice you eat though, doesn't it?
    I haven't really noticed any difference.

    i've actually changed a few brands for the past 3 years and to tell u the truth theres nothing much different to me other than the price =.='' u can always cook great rice by changing the amount of water.. and if that doesnt help mix in another brand? lol

    The rice has changed for sure, its very plain no flavour at all.-ann-ann-unsure (South Australia)

    I would never notice the taste of my rice... Unless it gets too wet or moist -_-

    I don't think the texture and taste had changed...but i recently tried indian rice and it smells horrible [no offense to people who eat indian rice]

    It has changed for some brands. The smell mostly. Some brands can be kept overnight in the ricecooker and other will turn into goo .. no really some brands will look like yellow stinky congee the next morning.

    i haven't noticed any changes with the rice i eat but i'm not that good at distinguishing tastes. coke & pepsi / 7up & sprite can't tell the difference.

    I meant the NEW CROP coming out of Thailand and China.
    the American brand/crop seems to be ok, though, odd
    very odd, may it is GM crops, hmm?
