my parents also were very strict and conservative then became lenient and open minded lol. dont know if i want to have children at the moment... lol i think all you can do is guide your child the rest is up to them.
I respect others for their decision to be gay/lesbo/trans but not my kids. If you think otherwise, that just you. Everyone has different opinions about this topic and different way to raise their kids. It is all a matter of trust. My daughters are brought up to think for themselves what is right and what is wrong. They look after themselves and know that sleeping around is too cheap and degrading for themselves.
well.. i would like to say.... things won't be happen .. if you manage to educate them well... no one can stop who from doing something... if you as a parent stop your son/daughter for doing it... most of them will try to hide it away from you... the best way is communication.. if they feel scare talking to you... you failed to be a parents... In my point of view... your son or daughter shouldn't be afraid of you... if they weren't afraid... many things you could know inside their heart.... once you daughter being a slut or whatever negative stuff.. don't blame them... ask yourself... why she becoming like this? look in a matter seriously.... ^^ we could avoid alot.. in this century, maybe 14? have read stories that when a couple in a room, they will start anything, nothing to care about; if the daughter got any virus/disease, is her problem, i would care less; her choice = her life

no matter how you cut it.. if a girls been used. she's worthless. there's no compromise, ifs, ands or butts. therefore be the parent you have to be and need to be. no excuses, no matter what. just NO EXCUSES.
I don't think you can really control kids like that. But if my daughter was sleeping around with guys at a young age, I would be so pissed, even if it was my son who was doing that, I would be pissed. When the time comes I will teach my kids to learn to respect their own body. The most acceptable age would probably be after 20, because they should know better and have better judgment than a child. BUT of course it would be best if they stay a virgin until they get married.
