My system currently is: Q9550 Gigabyte EP45-DS4P 4gb Corsair Dominators Gigabyte GTX260+ 216SP Corsair HX-520 CM690 But i will probs end up upgrading to i7 early next year.
Rumor has it, the i9 is due soon. The good news is, it'll be using socket 1366. Updated the first post to make it a bit more useful.

any software where i can see how much cpu and ram is being used, maybe the temp too, all in one maybe?, not task manager >.<
Take a look at Everest. There's a free version but I'm not too sure if it's just one of those 30 day trials or something with limited features. http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?lang=en&page=11
@ M_G & Kond Speedfan is good and has other neat features but it doesn't show RAM usage. Also Memtest86+ is another good tool, all these are freeware.
Thank you. I know of SpeedFan but from what I've experienced, the temperature readings it shows are much lower than CoreTemp, Realtemp, and Everest. I'll add Memtest86 right away.
Hey guys should I get a better soundcard? I think the onboard one is pretty good, but I was thinking of getting a X-fi card
shit... i think i might just have to get the antec 300 case......... the Thermalright True 120 Extreme heatsink i got is too big for my mid size case............. shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
Are you: A serious gamer? An audiophile? Do you: Watch movies on your computer? If you answer "No" to all of these, you don't need a sound card. Just FYI, X-Fi does not mean it's by Creative. There are a few companies out that have cards with the X-Fi chipset. The 300 is a beautiful case. Have you considered Lian Li?
brushed aluminum -drool too bad the thing must cost like 500 a case edit: mannn now i want to make one........
i was looking at this guys avatar ^, which made me notice... i have yet to see a hot girl into pc building.........
I love the space, and the airflow is great it has 3x 230mm fan's and 1x 140mm fan. but its kinda huge, so it will take a lot of space xD. dvd-drives and HDD can be installed without tools. I can recommend this case to everyone -^_^
