Nah, I had to cut it myself. I use it to route the 20/24 pin motherboard cable, cables for the front panel and eventually the 6 and 8 pin power cables for my graphics card. I'm using the on-board optical out.
dont know what optical-out is :(, i dont thin my speakers do that anyway, these are my ones, had em for long time, they are nice. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-052-LG&groupid=702&catid=22&subcat=165
nice.. i find that i can cram everything into the top section, despite the huge amount of cables lol and nice.. with the optical out. gonna do the same, and hook it up to my receiver
Haha that works too but you'll still have to deal with getting the connector to the motherboard. With the hole cut in the motherboard tray, it makes it seem as if the cable is coming out from no where. Hmm we should start a PC builders thread.
opitcal out or the more accurately term S/PDIF is a fiber optical connection for audio. the advantages with optical connection is that it sends a digital signal to external DAC(Digital to Analog Converter, your Reciever) over a fiber optic connection which results in a much cleaner sound since there much less electrical interference. unfortunately your setup does not support optical connection
ok lol so i didn't just buy this... i've had it for like 10 years. Finally got around to bringing the old boy outa storage though. thats about half my games collection... all of them are like 5 times harder than i remember them being :|
Lol omggg... hahaha... i so hated my mum for giving our one away... but we had the other one where u could play duckhunt! My friend bought one on the net the other day for like 25 euros n we played double dragon n stuff.. so funny...!
^ nice.... nes... i have one too anyways, something i got: although i'm scared to put it in, for fear that it might not fit my case lol an image of how big it is (not mine):
TRUE is a great cooler, but its kinda pricey. I wonder why this guy only has a pull fan, wouldnt a push+pull or just push setup give better cooling.
it's secksies i got it on sale -bigsmile but yea, you're right, if i had to place it horizontally, and only had one fan, i'd place the fan on top and do a push.... unless his case is tiny and has no space on top to put the fan... if he had placed the fan on bottom and pushed, the hot air would be concentrated in the top of the case, which isn't good... I think he just didn't have enough space to place a fan on top... hence the horizontal placement, and the pull from the bottom....
