Stephy Tang becomes the first HK artist confirmed to have swine flu (Influenza A(H1N1) virus). Because of her frequent appearances in different functions lately, she came in contact with numerous artists and fans. The biggest function she participated lately is the "Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign", singing with about 300 singers and artists on the same stage. Stephy didn't do anything to prevent the spread of the virus, such as wearing a gauze mask. Many might be infected if the virus is spread out. The day before yesterday, Stephy appeared in a digital product function with Shawn Yue. Until the end of the function, Stephy suddenly told reporters, "I'm afraid, I'll go to see the doctor later." Reporters asked her immediately for her reason to visit the doctor, she replied, "I have a sore throat and fever. Also, my assistant just diagnosed with swine flu." She didn't wear a gauze mask at the time, and she talked to the reporters in a very close distance. Miss Chan said she already notified Alex Fong, who sat closely with Stephy in the premier of "Metallic Attraction: Kungfu Cyborg" last Tuesday, about the latest update. He said he will have a body check in his free time. Shawn Yue replied through his assistant, "I don't have any symptoms at this moment. But I'll go to see the doctor just in case.
