Welcome to last year. Seriously though, the newest Safari and Firefox are both blisteringly quick but have serious memory leak issues.
Is that when its taking up a lot of cpu or ram or something, i dont notice much problems unless i got 14 tabs each with videos streaming.
Chrome can be a bit hit due to new browser and is from google, plus it will be on their OS and smartphone; but it won't be mainstream -roflyawn
You know.. google is going to take over the world.... I don't think standards like firefox is going away anytime soon.
well ff is much better, when it was firefox 2 then it sucked a lot of ram, they have improved it a lot now and i think it's quite good. having said that i haven't tried chrome yet, is it low on ram resources? i know it's quick but i've never tried it cos ff has been good enough for me.
i've also used chrome for a while now and it is easily one of the easiest browsers to use. its design is simple and its faster than the previous browsers that i have used.
despite this thread being old, but if firefox was a standard, IE would not exist, and i would not be saying "FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--" over browser incompatibilities with web apps.
