aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh with the new thermalright ultra extreme 120 and an antec 300, torture tests come out on average 55 degrees... before that, it was 80 degrees.... 25 degrees reduction... aaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww yeaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh idle? 25 degrees browsing? 27 degrees screw water cooling lol
You should add IntelBurnTest to the list of torture programs. It's the best one. Can do in 5-10 minutes what the two you posted does in hours. And I have to disagree with you guys on the Antec 300. I think it's ugly. I have the p180 mini (modded) and I think it's the best looking Antec case to date both in and out. If I were to go back to full tower I'd get the SS tj07 or if I had money to burn on a case I'd pick up a loaded murdermod tj07. Edit: http://www.murdermod.com/
Christ, just how cool is it in your room? To get 25C on air must mean your room temp is much cooler than that. And just FYI, my setup peaks at 51C when idling at the low 40s. Thanks for the suggestion. Would you happen to know if you would need more than 1 stance if the Intel Burn Test if you have multi-core processors. I'll have to look into how fast that software can bring temperatures up. I always thought that it didn't matter what you used if you could get it under full load. The Antec may look ugly on the outside but internally, it's wonderfully built. I would agree that the P180 does look a lot nicer than the 300 but cooling wise, the 300 wins hands down. The TJ07 is a beautiful case but extremely overpriced, IMO. To be honest, I think a modified Lian-Li would look just as good. EDIT: Answered my own question. You can run multiple threads to get multi-core processors to full load. As for heating up faster. It does seem to hit a peek a few seconds faster but the interesting thing is, the IntelBurnTest seems to be able to get the temperatures 1-2C higher than prime but that's on water. I wonder how much of a difference that would be on air. I believe that the reason people run Prime95 for several hours is not so much for temperature analysis but stability testing. Anyway, I'm adding the IntelBurnTest to the list. The name is rather misleading though since it does support AMD. Lol.
I live in the basement. that must by why. lol hence is why i've been getting sick lolol it's like an ice cavern down here lol
the one that came in the box :naughty: lol jks artic silver 5 edit: a pic oddly enough, despite being bigger than my first case, it offers less places to hide cables, hence is why the cabling is a bit messier than the other case.... :(
last year I've built a 4K biritish pound PC for my mate and the picture you can see is on the my avatar check it out lol
why don't you post a bigger picture in your post. upload it to photobucket or imageshack, and use tags. also specs would be nice. a 4k british pound rig should be INTENSE.
That's $6,500 US dollars. What exactly did you spend all that money on? For that much money, I would expect to see 2 graphics card. Keep in mind it's not how much you spend on a computer that's important. It's how smart you are about spending the money.
I didn't post a case on purpose. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131390 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115212 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167013 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231251 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703022 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152102 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130510 CPU Cooling: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/8...el_CPU_Heatsink_LGA_775_1366_AM2_AM2_AM3.html http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9...m_Mid_Speed_Fan_-_1800_RPM.html?tl=g36c15s932 http://www.frozencpu.com/products/8...cone_Thermal_Compound_-_1g.html?tl=g8c127s846
My laptop's battery doesn't hold at all. I'm not in a 'dire' need, so I can definitely wait. My concern is still being able to orchestrate 3-4 LCD MONITOR DISPLAYs, so the bulk of the cost will be there. However, I dunno what the next big thing is either. I can proally get a cheap dell, but I would really wanan build my cooler master. lol
