As a result, both the Broadcast Authority and TVB received 55 complaints altogether, the majority of them stated that the competition was unfair. Some complained about that the MCs said inappropriate things which could cause an influence to young children. TVB received a total of 5 complaints. 3 complaints stated that TVB is a black business because they felt that Esther Lam should have won. The other 2 complaints stated that the MCs could have done better. The Broadcast Authority received 50 complaints for unfairness and inappropriate comments by the MC. Scared away 320,000 viewers to ATV Last Saturday's broadcast for "Burning Flames 3" finale was 31 points, this week Miss Hong Kong 2009 takes over and lost 320,000 audience, where the TV ratings dropped 5 points. ATV's "Mom's Dead Upset" (媽媽發爛渣) averaged 7 points, increasing 1 point. TVB's "D.I.E Again" and "You're Hired" received 3 and 1 complaints respectivatively. "D.I.E Again" received 3 complaints for terrifying camera angles and bloody scenes, these scenes should not be broadcast.
