Supposedly Ketamine. But, I doubt that's all it was. Ketamine has a variety of veterinary and medical usage, mostly as an anesthetic but can produce variations of euphoria (high) in humans. Hong Kong has been flooded with it these last few years. HK youngsters typically cross over the border to clubs in Shenzhen to get high. In 2006, the world's five largest producers of illegal ketamine flooding the world narcotics market were all factories in the People's Republic of China. I suspect that in addition to the Ketamine, the powder was adulterated (cut or diluted) with other substances, and the girl likely had a massive inflammatory reaction in her lungs, disabling her pulmonary tissues from supplying her body with oxygen. The amount of powder that she inhaled was simply tremendous. On the other hand, given her behavior, it wouldn't be surprising if she then went on to do more drugs after she departed from the video and snort session; and died of an overdose of something else entirely. Regardless, it truly is sad that young people can give up their lives for a moment's curiosity or joy, having absolutely no clue about the risks that they take. IE, stupidity shouldn't be so easily fatal. Sources: http://www.time.com/time/asia/covers/1101020520/ketamine.html http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/07/31/hongkong.ketamine/
my friends still snort k for clubbing never had a problem yet, i personally avoid it , had to visit one in hospital for od but it was for e, stick to weed if you are going to do drugs :kekekegay: and look at that line, wtf was she thinkin.. peer pressure.
Yeah, exactly. Anyone who snorts that much especially k-powder which is worse than cocaine, is stupid. Did it not accure to her that 'Hey snorting that much... hmm I'm not going to make it out alive tonight' Really? Really? Sad for her family, but good for society. 500 RM is only about $100 here. Even if that's a lot of money for Malaysians... not worth dying over.
港青北上濫藥的熱門的士高... "Hong Kong youth goes up north and recklessly uses drugs in popular disco..." Basically, 北上 or going north, is a euphamism meaning that a Hong Konger is going into the PRC proper. So, yes; she was paid in Renmibi. The site that the OP posted on, is probably a site that is frequented by Malaysians, so the OP placed a conversion of the value of the prize money, so that his readers (presumably other Malaysians) would get a sense of the value that the girl was risking her life for. Hence, the girl was in China, and was paid in RMBs. Sad. :(
