When a girl you have been talking to just online for about a month calls you "sor lo" when you misunderstood a joke they make. This being a blind date/ getting to know each other to being with when talking initially began I know its not much to go on.. but what would you say there opinion of you is in their eyes?

it's "silly man" .. i think it's ok .. that's quite normal in conversation in chinese .. misscheek uses it all the time so you should hit her up and ask her opinion on the situation .. lol i believe it is nothing serious so don't think too much and just chat like you usually do .. if things work out, that's great .. if not, move on.
i don't think it's unusual to see "sor lo" getting thrown at you. i wouldn't think too much of it and i don't think the girl meant for it to be negative.
i knew what sor lo means anyway.. just wondered what ppl would think being called it. and 8 chi means dumb in my book.. but totally thick would probably be more accurate
Depends on the tone, but since you only chatted online, you're not sure but overall, it's just kidding around, girls sometimes trying to act cute with it but it really depends on the tone. Online chatting does not equal to blind date but if you are planning to go out with her on one than GL, and listen to the tone in when she speaks to you.
Sor Lo wouldnt be such an issue, just calling them silly. 8 Chi on the other hand is more serious, pretty much everything related to 8 is bad lol
