According to Hong Kong reports, Andy did not kept his promise of admitting that he’s married, after his “delayed confession” message which apologize to fans, media and friends. There are more 70 pages of comments by fans at the Andy World Club message board, close to 30,000 hits, among them fans exclaimed that that they would “leave the family member and become a normal fan”. It seems that they are drawing a line with Andy, some fans also wrote: “If I never lie in my life, then I would have the rights to scold those whom lied.” Andy had always been anxious of his fans, as 27 September would be his 48th birthday, his website had indicated that there will be a birthday party at Hong Kong International Trade & Exhibition Centre Star Hall on 22 September, this would be the first time that he meet fans face-to-face after announcing his marriage. According to report, due to the limited slots, only a few hundreds fans could attend, it was said that the figures increases instead of decreasing, because most of the fans would like to hear Andy’s explanation in person. Some die hard fans had recorded some supportive message to be broadcast during the birthday party. He doesn't have to do that I can understand why he "lied", I mean marriage is a private thing although he is a public person, doesnt mean that he has to announce everything to the public!!! Look at the situation now... its just a marriage and everybody is so exciting about it and picking on him. We are not even his relatives, but just fans ... u know people who appreciates and admires his work, no need to know if he is married or not
he may lied about his marriage, but everyone knew it for longtime , where had you been ! . but he such a good guys, look at Tony and other who cheating beside his wife .... does you really care about there family , you just try to hate people when they have problem.
It's his agents doing, they did what they needed to do to protect Andy's youthful image. Andy doesn't need to stoop so low and try to 'win' back fans. Those were never fans to begin with, because they didn't understand that ANDY OWES THEM NOTHING. **** those people
For me, I dun really c the big deal abt him not announcing to the whole universe that he was a married man. I like artists for their music/movies etc.... n I dun expect them to live like nuns/monks... They just gotta deliver good work (music/songs) n dont really care what they do in their free time... The fact that andy lau is married or not does not make me decide if i'd wanna buy his album or movie
You seem to be overly bitter about this whole situation. Did Andy reject you or something? Anyone will common sense would congratulate Andy for actually being able to announce his marriage to a person he have been with for 24 years. You sound like the person that wanted to kill themselves after finding out about the marriage.
