One of my close friend is hosting ger birthday dinner in the coming days and i still haven't bought her a present yet, but i was thinking of buying her a pair of earrings maybe from Tiffanys, but nothing too expensive cause i aint a millionaire lol. Do you girls and guys think that's a good idea? At first i was thinking of buyin her a necklace but then again she already has one.
She also has earrings,lol but a necklace or an earring is nice provided that she doesn't have the same earring or necklace.
Why Tiffany? You're not a millionaire like you said so yourself. Anyway, if ya'll are close friends, you should know better what she likes or doesn't like; not what she has and doesn't .. it's the thought that counts anyway; unless she's a very materialistic gal who judges by what you give her.

U could buy her jewelry by any brand... doesnt have to be THAT expensive....but generally I like receiving earrings ... esp the "better" ones (swarovski)... meaning not the ones from the one dollar shop that change color after wearing em a few times!
i agree with negi about the whole tiffanys thing...tiffanys IS expensive loool xD could get her different kinds of jewellery but if she's ur close friend,..u should know what she likes.. or bake her a cake
i thought the rule of thumb is that if you're not chasing after her .. just friend type and opposite sex .. you should always stay away from anything personal as gift - clothing and especially "jewelry".
A fashion earrings is a good stuff to give to a friend...It doesnt need to cost that much .I have seen some site wherein they sell fashion earrings in cheaper price... You should see J.Estina they have this great accessories

i can understand regular accessories - beads and whatever .. Tiffany .. most ppl (non-millionaire type) buy it for their "significant" other .. not close friend.
If a friend gave me something so expensive, it'll only pressure me into getting something similar for them. It just doesn't feel right if you don't get them a gift of similar value.
does she have a bf? that would be wrong if he saw it, i could see that type of present for a mom but jewelry is usually for couples unless u want to signal that you are intrested.

earrings/necklaces/rings are traditionally xdiamonds/gold (unless its a mood ring or gay stuff like that) couple items, he made the mistake of choosing the wrong present. Now say its un-gifting time and he presents her with a pair of earrings then her bf also has earrings, wtf is he going to think if ur wearing the other guys earrings around all day or if he gave it to her for their 1 year anniversary or something, hes going to take it off, throw it in the trash, maybe argue with u, If you're wearing my jewelery around i'm going to think you're my bitch =p
