^ GM and Ford are completely different companies man... Also, the Ford Ka's 1.2 duratec petrol engine has reported gas milage estimates around 55.4 mpg, while the Yaris's 1.3 inline 4 has reported MPG's around 48. Gas milage is pretty speculative though, I really would never buy a car based on its MPG's, seeing as i have a lead foot anyway. I can't believe im promoting Ford over Toyota, but for small cars atleast, Ford wins hands down in europe. Things change once you move into SUV's though.

Toyata main selling point are their small to family size vehcles and their low fuel consumption while having the feel of luxury... and no way would Toyata win in their SUV competition with other companies, they tried to have larger SUV but have lost to the competitors. Well, I wouldn't know how Europe function, but I don't see how Ford > Toyata
