Ok i think you guys are getting mixed up what im trying to say im not asking who is better

im asking if i go from Windows to OSX will there be any down side of it will it make me feel i wanna go back to Windows? what im saying is can i do everything what windows do to the OSX

and load my CD softwares on the Mac ?

  3. hahaha naw man i'm not dissing anyone. i'm just saying, vaios aren't worth the cost they sell at.

but if you want my frank opinion, just get a macbook. in terms of hardware quality and design, i'd pick a macbook pro over ANY laptop. not just vaios.

in terms of OS, it's up to you if you want the challenge of learning a new OS, and get things working with OSX when your software aint compatible with OSX.

but if you're a programmer, or designer, OSX is the best platform to use. it's efficient, and less prone to stupid and silly windows errors.

My first thought. If you just want the hardware, the macbook's seems a little better, then you can always reinstall the OS or even dual boot.

once you use osx you won't want to switch back to windows =p but pretty much what you can do on windows, you can do on osx, without installing/dualbooting windows, there's wine(program) that can run some windows app without a problem (you will have to check from their site though), and if you are studying computer programming then OSX will def be better for you,

meh.. :puke: @Macbook pro.. I'm not a fan of apple and their hardware.. it is just overpriced ;) all I'll say is that their screen is good, but the rest of the hardware are junk. For the OS.. It really depends on you, if you're using it for school and the school wants you to use OS X, then go head and buy a Mac. If it doesn't require OS X, then go buy some kind of laptop that runs Windows. Sony is overpriced also. I would go for something better for the price of a Sony.

The trackpad should work, really depends if Windows 7 have the driver for that hardware.

I'm using iMac or whatever that kind of apple computer it is.. that 20" screen desktop.. I hate the operating system and how slow it runs compared to my single core Acer Aspire Timeline... :laugh2: slow mac.. The only feature I like about the Mac running OS X would be iMovie, which is better than Windows Movie Maker for a standard built in program.

mac is OS base on Unix, there is no virus on Unix, there isnt even anti virus software for unix =p

  14. only because Mac is still less popular than windows, and that there are less virus programmers for mac and linux <_<

watch. youll get viruses soon enough. i hoping that all mac owners who insist on saying macs can't get viruses will get one soon enough.

Well, if its the aesthetically pleasing aspects about the OSX you like you can always customize windows.

what if i run Bootcamp and instal Windows then will i need to install anti virus im not saying when im on windows Interface im saying when im on the OSX interface
    will it effect the OSX?

  20. no, your os x should be fine, regarding most viruses.

the only viruses you should be worried about which will affect your mac would be those who wipe your whole drive.

when you boot camp, it allows you to do a non-destructive partition of your drive, allowing space for windows to be installed.

If you were to get a virus, it would be trapped in that windows partition, unless of course, it wipes the drive, or causes some over heating.

although.... on a side note, it'd be nice to design a worm which infects your windows partition, and somehow executes itself to the os x partition... HMMMMMMMMMMM..................

lol anyways, my hackintosh is alive:
