Asked this in the TVB thread, but no replies. Does anyone have experience with http://3tv.cn ? If not, can someone who reads Chinese take a look and provide me with a summary ? I guess you have to pay to be able to watch their channels, but does it look trustful or does it look like a scam ? How does it work ? Do they have all TVB channels ? Thx.
a webpage translator might help http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translat...rl=http://3tv.cn/&lp=zh_en&btnTrUrl=Translate
Uhhh, yeah that far I got, but the perfect (as in broken) English didn't make much sense to me And most importantly ... I still have my questions ...
huh? why would you pay if you can use Sopcast or pplive for free though? really want to try it out but the simplified chinese just drives me away from it...
For example right now the TVB channels on Sopcast do not work. The same can happen to PPLive or whatever other free service. They can disappear forever one day for whatever reason. Maybe the person who is streaming TVB gets a gf / bf / life and doesn't bother with it anymore If you can get a cheap paid service that can guarantee a proper service level, then I wouldn't mind to pay.
Yeah you have a point, but then it wouldn't be live tv. Some people still prefer live tv over downloaded stuff for certain things, like for example the news and tv shows. Uhhhh ... btw ... people ... my questions are still not answered, lol. Oh well, going to bed now ... nite nite.
but when you dl, u can watch it anytime, instead of tuning in whenever the show begins in that country's time (and is time for bed in your country's time); i don't get why ppl like to stream it live =0
Uhhh, so you never ever watch live tv ? Don't get me wrong, I do download lots (of course all legal stuff -innocent2), but it's a lifestyle choice to watch live tv. Hmmm, mabye I should change this thread to discuss On-Demand TV (Download) vs Live TV.
