Andy Lau bows and apologises to fans During his recent 48th birthday party, the remorseful Heavenly King bowed before fans and apologized for previously keeping his marriage under wraps After the cat was let out of the bag on Andy Lau’s secret marriage to Carol Choo in Las Vegas, the Hong Kong media labeled Andy the “King of braggart” and a number of endearing fans who could not tolerate his lies backed out of his fan club. Despite the backlash and media storm over his clandestine marriage, majority of Andy’s loyal fans stood by him and attended his 48th birthday party held on Tuesday this week. This event also marked the Heavenly King’s first official appearance in public. A remorseful Andy appeared onstage before fans, bowed and asked for their forgiveness. As he sang ‘The Days When We Were Together’, an emotional Andy started tearing. The birthday party was attended by 1,500 fans from ages three to 70 years old. Andy’s supportive fans took turns to perform onstage while Andy took a backseat and enjoyed their performances as a member of the audience. Andy’s eyes started to well as he watched a few families put up a touching rendition of his song, “Ten Years”. “Everyone has been through happy and unhappy times. We are all together, it feels like a family and gives me a warm feeling. I hope that everyone can experience happiness in this family.” As the Heavenly King started to sing “Long Distance Partners”, fans started to call out Carol’s name and he smilingly replied, “Thank you everybody. A lot of things happened lately, I hope that everyone can forget about them all. Don’t worry, I am fine, I am still the same to you guys.” The party ended with a birthday song and a cake-cutting session onstage. Source: MCTV
Apologize ... lol I think if he didn't say "confidently" to his fans in the media that he WILL make the announcement if he is to get married; then none of this is necessary and they will all be happy for him too.
oh wow .. is the he/she who's talking now .. get your pathetic and childish gay ass off the subject ..
Yea, the man has to get married sometime. Also, his career wouldn't blossom the way it is if he told everyone he was married back then. The fans who are still supporting him are the true loyal fans.
