PSP go. Who's planning on getting it??

I was just curious on if anyone else was considering getting the new PSPgo when it's released. So here's a poll.

 

its shit, very pricey, I'd rather throw in that extra 50 for PS3 with Dirt2 as bonus

 

I won't get one until it gets cheaper or the device proves itself worthy of its pricetag.
Mainly because I don't game as much as I used to ...

: / $50 more and you can get a ps3 that plays blu rays. Not too attractive to me especially since I already have a psp phat.

In case anyone doesn't know about the psp go it has 16 gb flash memory built in, a smaller screen, lighter, no umd drive so you have to download your games from PSN, battery cannot be removed, and I think it accepts m2 for memory expansion. Well in any case its probably for early adopters atm I mean they're not going sell alot of units with that $249 price tag when it's beside the 120gb PS3 slim, $299 Elite/ $149? arcade and the $199 Wii gimmick imo and especially after the DS were being sold for $90 earlier.

 

so my sony rep came by on tuesday and brought the psp go with him...it's small and...meh...the new mem cards are expensive, the launch day will slow the servers and i already bought crisis core so i kind of HAVE to buy the old psp anyways...it feels nice tho ...but yeah...

 

for fat princess i will buy it but only when the prices decreases and the early bugs are taken out of this machine...

 

Would also get it when price tag drops, no point in getting it and then paying $30 dollars for a game you can't resell.

 

Honestly I would feel really scammed for getting that...none of the previous PSP accessories work on the GO and no UMD conversion and also heard that Sony's not gonna let the game owners download a soft version for free, they're telling you guys to buy it again lol
It's just like buying a DSi with no gamepak slot for your DS games...I would rather stick with the DSLite

 

you can play ds games on dsi..just not gba...and yeah...the launch titles look like crap too, there's a mem card adapter for the old cards..btw..if you want fat princess just get a ps3...personally i like to collect sometimes but digital downloads kind of kills collectibles

 

the priceing for the psp go is kinda pricey i think i will wait for it to drop down a bit when the demand for it is low!

 

As with everyone else...the price tag is a bit out of my budget atm..so prob wait till it drops and a good game comes out...same plan i have for ps3..waiting for FFXIII to come out...price already down halfway since initial release...hope it drops down more

 

buy ffxiii ps3 bundle from japan dec 17 and you can have both

 

I haven't gotten to see one of these in action.. but damn.. they got a white one on release.. plus I think its hacked already..

but still.. at that price.. its not really worth it..

 

the idea of downloading game from sony's website to prevent piracy is a great idea but... seriously... whos gonna spend money like that?
