My USB

in short, my knee hit the plugged USB when i sat down, and it became:




should i keep it like that (i can still plug it in with extreme caution, works) or risk the fact ill ruin it by bending it back lol <--- just another dumb option isnt it?

back up data and buy new one. 15 bucks or less for 8gbs

 

It looks like only the connector got out of the casing, so you should be able to GENTLY put it back in. Anyway, since you have all your data backed up you have nothing to lose (except a few $$$). If you keep using it that way I am sure you will break something else soon, for example a cable.

 

where? the better ones (brand) is more likely to cost about $20 for 8GB

i guess i really have nth to lose: my ma found this flash drive in a washing machine (we wash our clothes in a laundromat)

a similar thing happened to my mem stick but the plastic thing around it broke and i was just left
with the metal bit...it worked and everything but it was hard to pull it out each time =.="
