not the first time lol [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZB4sh1HH8t8"]YouTube - School Kicks Out Boy Who Dresses Like a Girl[/ame]
Hmmm... he's only been in that Georgia school for 4 days? I guess he expects they should cater to him? Jeez, as the new kid in a school, one usually tends to try to blend into the woodwork, and not be so flamboyant of a standout. But hey, maybe I'm just being dull...
Isn't this in violation of his basic rights? I'm sure the whole freedom of expression thing covers this.
while i don't necessarily think it's okay, i also don't think he should be kicked out of school for it.
I think it's normal for the school admin to do that .. seriously, who would want a student to disrupt the norm at the school. Imagine how the parents would react if the admin let the kid dressed as a woman and not do a thing about it ... not pretty. If it's a private school, there is a dress code involved but for public school, the kid can take it up to the district office and court shall things don't pan out .. long and ugly .. lol The kid has a better chance going somewhere else for schooling or drop his act and go back like a guy and finish his studies .. he can dress like a girl all he want once he's in college .. lol
I remember the story of Luis Andrew Martinez, a guy in Berkley who used to walk around the campus naked and attend classes starkers. IMHO, guys or gals like this need to be expelled. School is about learning to conform, you can express yourself in much simpler ways and not take on the system at the expense of the process and other students. Expression does not mean selfishness, and this kid is being quite selfish. He believes that the world needs to accommodate him as an individual and he seems to think that only his needs are paramount over all others that the school system has before it. What next? What if he shows up in a Burka because he wants to dress like the Taliban? LOL... IMHO, ...kick his ass out. Spoiler Personally, his outfit reminds me of the Wicked Witch of the West, from the Wizard of Oz. The only thing he's missing is a broom. -roflyawn
If the school dosent have a dress code then his not really doing anything wrong. No where does it say he cant dress like a girl, and like Kontradiction said im pretty sure its a violation of a freedom of expression... As for the naked guy..im pretty sure thats against the law, public indecency or something like that
doesn't matter .. it's an assumed dress code .. like Ralph said .. the world doesn't resolve around that particular student.
He looks great, in my opinion. I support him and his rights to wear what he wants. By the way, a guy dressing like a girl does not necessarily mean he's gay. A girl dressing like a guy does not necessarily mean she's a lesbian. And just because I support him doesn't make me a lesbian either. Not like I have to explain to anyone here; just a disclaimer because I know some of you will jump to those stereotypical conclusions.
No offense but, public schools not the place to dress like it's a friday night. Leave your free rights at the door, you're there to learn afterall.
Alright, was at uni, using uni comps, so had to be careful what I type, but since I'm at home now, oh for love of god, somebody shoot this guy, we do not need another homosexual roaming around in this world, ever!
^^^^^ school checks alright .. if you're using their comp or services .. @ tony .. you're right .. people should be in school to learn .. not be a freak ... this guy is trying to get attention for dressing that way .. socially repressed school .. i don't think so .. school is for ppl to learn like the tony guy said earlier .. not socialize per se ... if you wanna go to the school then you gotta play by the rule .. no one want a trouble maker around. freedom is only up to the extend where it doesn't become a nuisance to others.
Not really, we don't need people like that. Society would be so much better if there weren't so many retards running around.
