The above is an example of a Yum Yum, It is similar to Doughnuts, but its definitely not Churros.

You can get the above from ASDA

Hey, i don't think they put the yeast, because the yeast won't give the yow char kwai crspy. they will soften the yow char kwai.
if after cook too long time, this will more worst.

had tried the recipe KaY_xD posted
Did not come out as expected.

I had the recipe, but can not get the ingredients here.

    Ingredients: A
    3/4 tsp instant yeast
    1 tsp sugar
    1 tsp flour
    1 tbsp water
    ingredients: B
    250 ml water
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda (Baking soda)
    3/4 tsp alum (pak fan)
3/4 tsp ammonia powder (chow Fan)
    1 tsp salt

    300g high protein flour

    oil for deep frying
    --------------------------------

Mix ingredient A 10 to 15 mins until foamy (at room temp or warm room)
    Mix ingredient B
Sift flour into a mixing bowl pour in ingredient B knead well
roll out into long rectangle, cover and leave for 1 to 2 hrs.
cut into strips. Place two strip one on top of the other and press lightly with a stick in the
centre. Stretch them a longer before deep fry until golden brown
    (Make : 10 -15)

I got this recipe from somewhere which I had forgotten. Thanks to whoever wrote this recipe.
I know its work. but the only problem is getting the ingredient.
    Happy cooking
